Pinto Portrait

This 16x20" acrylic is part of a series that I have been working on off and on for over a year involving Native American themes. I have not done many horse portraits but the Pinto horse is one of my favorites. In the past I have painted Belgian draft horses but I like painting the different breeds in their local environments. Prints are available of this image.

Nightmare
This 36"x28" acrylic painting was an attempt to capture the dreamy state before you wakeup. I have a great respect for bears, probably because I have drawn and researched them a lot. Because they are both fascinating and terrifying I enjoy drawing and painting them and yes I have had this dream more than once. Prints of this image are available.

Sense of Touch
This 24"x24'" acrylic painting is part of another series involving the senses. I have wanted to do a hand study but just the hand was not enough so I included the rusty barb wire to contrast the red fingernail polish.

Apartment 304
This series of 24"x24" acrylic paintings feature the same apartment, at the same time of day, but different years. Things change with each new occupant even though the view maybe the same. Different type of subject matter for me but I enjoyed creating them. Prints will be available for this series.

Fat Cats

This acrylic painting features a muddy underwater scene in a muddy river. The original painting measures 24"x40". A fun painting to do with a lot of stuff going on it. Notice the sign in the mud in front. Prints and original are available of this piece.

Clinton train Depot
This is an image I created that features the Clinton Iowa train depot circa early 1950's. The train featured is the "City Of Denver" A passenger slowly makes her way to catch the train to somewhere else. Prints are available of this image> The original acrylic measured roughly 16x20".
